Support Coordination for all NDIS participants is here to stay. Hooray!!
So how can SchemeWise help?
All you need is CORE funding which includes Activities of Daily Living funds and be NDIA-managed, plan-managed or self-managed (essentially all plans have ADL funds). SchemeWise can help everyone!
You no longer need to have been provided specific support coordination funds in the capacity building part of your plan. And you can decide to get as little or as much as you want to your maximum CORE funds budget. Its totally up to you.
How did this come about?
The NDIA added temporary support coordination codes to the NDIS price list in March 2020 due to COVID-19 responses to ensure people could get the help they needed. LOTS of people found having this helpful for other reasons especially getting help with problems in specific areas like housing or transitions like moving into a new home when the NDIS had failed to provide this support. It also meant they could access coordination services any time.... without the need t do a plan review and beg and plead for coordination in the first place.
The COVID-19 response was supposed to end on 30 Sept 2020 but early in October 2020 the government announced it was keeping these provisions PERMANENTLY. Sanity from 'scottyfrommarketing' and team FINALLY...!
