SchemeWise is a professional service and rehabilitation business based in Queanbeyan, NSW.  SchemeWise is expanding its services and is looking for new team members. All our people work from home or an office location, travelling to our customers or providing teleservice appointments (as required). Travel time is paid per any scheme criteria. Regular supervision is a necessary part of working with us. Personal accountability toward completing work on time to meet requirements and quality outcomes, is a must have attribute.

Job Description

The ideal person is a self-starter, has preferably 5yrs+ work experience (overall) and has an interest in neurological / injury / aging conditions (you may also work with other conditions) and re-abling communication. You will manage a caseload of customers across aged, disability and community, and work time can include standard and outside business hours time around your daily/family responsibilities.  Travel time is paid per scheme criteria and included in work time. Our customers are generally people 18yrs or older (will not be working with minors) with lifelong or acquired conditions or older persons. The role is primarily focused on customers and/or assessments requested externally by third parties. You must be experienced in dysphagia assessment and mealtime management or safety planning, also.

You will transition into this role over a short period of time, with a flexible start offered.

This is a contract position for 12 months, with a possibility for 12 months extension or convert to permanent part-time after 12 months dependent on performance. A minimum of three months probation applies to this position.

You must have experience writing Aged Care, rehabilitation/injury and/or NDIS reports. Previous experience with neurological injuries is favourably considered. We expect you will also participate fully in our practice of continuous quality improvement, contribute positively to business activity and services excellence.

Work Schedule:

• You will work from home, travelling to customers generally
  
• You will work a set number of agreed hours (weekly) in standard business times for customer-facing activities, however all non-direct activities (e.g. report writing) can be undertaken at other times so long as deadlines are met.
• Attend the office for regular supervision, training and/or team events (as required)
  

You will need:

• Full membership with SPA
• relevant work clearances (NDIS, WWVP, and/or police check)
• a reliable car with full insurance + unencumbered drivers licence
  
• a recent laptop/tablet
• a smartphone (Android 10+ or iOS 14+)
• a reliable broadband connection (12Mbps minimum)
  
• 5+ years minimum work post-graduation (continuous or broken)
• must be an Australian citizen (we’re unable to offer visa support)

Salary Offered: up to $100.00 per hour (incl superannuation) dependent on background and experience.
